ABSTRACT

This study examines Venezuela’s macroeconomic crisis, focusing on inflation, GDP decline, and economic instability. It analyzes the impact of government policies, economic mismanagement, and oil dependency on the country’s financial collapse. Using macroeconomic analysis, the research evaluates key indicators such as inflation rates, fiscal policies, and trade relations while drawing on historical economic theories. Preliminary findings suggest that excessive government intervention, over-reliance on oil exports, and uncontrolled money printing have fueled hyperinflation and economic decline. The study highlights Venezuela as a cautionary case for other nations, emphasizing the importance of sound monetary policies, economic diversification, and sustainable growth strategies.
