When is lunch?

Enjoy a flexible lunch break between 12:15 PM and 1:15 PM at the MassURC, with no poster sessions scheduled during this time. Whether you prefer an early bite or a leisurely meal later in the afternoon, the choice is entirely yours, prioritizing your convenience and flexibility. So whenever hunger strikes, head over to one of our dining options and treat yourself to a delicious feast!

Where can I eat?

Indulge in the renowned dining experience that UMass Amherst is celebrated for during your time at the MassURC! As an attendee, you have the exclusive opportunity to savor delicious meals at our top-notch dining halls for just $8, just by picking up a yellow lunch ticket at the Registration Tables.

Please note that this discount is applicable only at the campus dining halls. Worcester Dining Commons and Franklin Dining Commons are conveniently located near the Campus Center. For detailed locations and additional information about these dining halls, please visit their respective web pages.

The discount doesn’t extend to Blue Wall, Roots Cafe, Harvest Market, The Commonwealth Restaurant, and other dining spots on campus — however you are more than welcome to grab a meal in any of these places!

For campus contacts interested in purchasing tickets in advance for their students, please reach out to Meredith Feltus, our conference coordinator. Campus contacts can secure bulk tickets by bringing a paper check made out to UMass Conference Services to the Information Desk behind the escalators on the lower level.
To streamline the process, we kindly ask student presenters to confirm your meal ticket request by Monday, April 14.
