Abstract

This project merges computing technology with aquatics by utilizing a fish tank as a cooling mechanism for a computer system. A 10-gallon tank is divided into two compartments: one for computer components and the other for fish. The pump will pull water from the tank and pump it into a CPU block which will cool the CPU, then it will pump it back into the tank. To ensure that both the computer and fish are safe, an application is developed to monitor the temperatures for both the tank and the PC. An external thermometer will measure the tank's water temperature. Data is logged into the computer and the application retrieves and displays temperature readings, ensuring optimal conditions for both the computer and the fish. This project highlights an innovative approach to computer cooling, promoting sustainability and environmental awareness in computing practices.
